Nipomo, California – June 30, 2008 – Omni-Sulphur, a full service development company for sulphur fertilizer and forming project opportunities worldwide is pleased to announce that an agreement has been formed between Omni Sulphur and Multitécnica, a manufacturing company headquartered in Sete Lagoas, Brazil. Multitécnica specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of specialty and micronutrient fertilizer as well as being active in animal nutrition and industrial market sectors. As a joint venture, Omni Sulphur and Multitécnica will be constructing, and operating a sulphur bentonite fertilizer plant to be located at Multitécnica’s manufacturing complex at Sete Lagoas.Kent Lambden, Managing Director of Omni Sulphur stated: “Given that one of our primary areas of expertise is our knowledge of how to produce and market sulphur-based fertilizers, the Omni Sulphur group is excited about our strategic partnership with Multitécnica, particularly because this alliance will help us further increase the growing need for sulphur bentonite fertilizer forming operations. With an ability to break down and release elemental sulphur to deficient soils, we can achieve our goal of minimizing nutrient loss thereby maximizing plant availability around the world.” The overall structure and purpose of the venture will be set forth in a “Term Sheet” and properly documented in a forthcoming definitive agreement. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The announcement of this strategic partnership comes on the heels of two other sulphur fertilizer forming projects which have successfully consummated in Asia and the Middle East over the past 12 months.
